William IV mahogany fold-over card table c.1835

Introducing an outstanding quality mahogany card table crafted circa 1835.

Made in the graceful forms of the William IV period comes this beautifully made fold-over card table. It features lovely crossbanded edges to the table top,  and wonderful carved accents to the front of the table. The substantial pedestal base ends with a splayed scalloping where it meets a circular platform base resting on 4 sensational lion paw feet.

Once opened, the tabletop self supports to display the original bottle green tooled leather top with gilt key worked edges – a lovely change from the usual felt.

This wonderful William IV table would be well served as a side table in a hallway or living area, and wheeled out and opened when card night begins.
