Royal Worcester porcelain pierced vase by George Owen c.1912
This stunning Royal Worcester pierced vase is by Craftsman George Owen.
The ring of the mouth is beaded, and the body is pierced to a complicated interlaced design at mid-height between bands of gilt foliate decoration. The lower band is interrupted to one side to accommodate a gilt inscription ‘D.B.S / 1913’. The incised signature ‘G. Owen’ is underside with a printed factory mark.
The condition overall is good, with loss to the gilding on the foot.
