Crafted from warm English walnut comes this handsome bracket clock made circa 1850.
The clock is encased in walnut, and features blind brass fretwork detailing to the front. The clock face has a silvered outer dial and is numbered with roman numerals. The inner dial is beautifully gilt, and the outer sections of the face show highly detailed ormolu embellishments.
The clock has an 8 day fusee movement and is ticking along nicely.
A beautiful size to display on a mantle, sideboard, or sofa table.
