Introducing a gorgeous antique sewing box, perfect for storing your sewing paraphernalia.
Crafted in England c.1870, this box is made from sumptuous rosewood. It features ebonised and mother of pearl bandings to the sides, in shaped contrasting patterns.
The escutcheon and centre of the shield are inlaid with brass and the outer edge of the shield consists of more inlaid timber.
The interior of the box is fully fitted and includes separate compartments for sewing tools and 2 brass thimbles.
