Regency Flame Mahogany Pedestal Sideboard, c.1830

This fine quality Regency flame mahogany pedestal sideboard boasts dramatic bow ends with turned twist columns. The large central drawer displays two heavy brass handles. Beneath this drawer is a large concave central drawer, lined in green felt. The sideboard sits on fine sabre feet. A beautiful antique English piece, dating to c. 1830.

Interior design note: This is a stunning piece of furniture that would be at home in either a period home or modern residence. Although traditionally belonging in a dining room, a piece such as this could also function as a decorator piece in the entry of a contemporary home.
