$4,950.00
This wonderful pair of French bergeres are as comfortable as they are beautiful!
Crafted during the 19th century in Louis XVI style, these chairs were specifically designed for lounging comfortably rather than for formal, upright seating. This pair of ladies and gents chairs feature high backs, a deep, wide seat and exposed gilt wooden frame. These chairs feature plush, upholstered armrests and a loose feather seat cushion.
The wooden frame has been beautifully carved and gilt, and the legs are turned and reeded in classic Louis XVI style. Beautifully carved cartouches adorn the top of both chairs.
The upholstery is a warm gold damask fabrication which is in beautiful condition.
A stunning pair to add to a bedroom, lounge room, or conservatory.
These can be delivered to Melbourne for $220, Sydney for $550, Brisbane for $660.
