This superb cabinet was crafted in France circa 1880.
Made from French oak, the piece has been expertly crafted, carved, and polished, and is the ultimate in French decadence from the 19th century. Featuring rococo carvings to the panels, acanthus leaf and floral embellishments, and carved cabriole legs, the piece is further adorned with curved bow ends.
Storage wise, the cabinet features one single door with a full width interior shelf which gives plenty of internal storage. Above it sits a central drawer with original brass escutcheons and keys.
The crowning glory is the rouge marble top which has soft grey veining which contrasts beautifully with the warm polished oak.
This superb cabinet would be greatly admired in any position that it can be enjoyed every day! Hallways, dining rooms, living areas – a multi functional piece.
This can be delivered to Melbourne for $220. Contact us for a shipping quote if you are further afield.
