French black slate 8 day mantle clock c.1880

This lovely mantle clock was crafted in France c.1880.

Made from heavy black slate, this lovely clock features two decorative cupids on columns, flanking the dial. There are further cast and gilt embellishments around the clock face. Part of the base reveals a beautiful rouge marble peeking out which adds a great touch to the piece.

The clock is working and has an 8 day movement. A fab piece to display in pride of position on your mantle piece or sideboard.
