English 19th century ebony barley twist jardiniere stand c.1850

This mid 19th century planter stand is crafted from ebony. It features a wonderfully turned barley twist column, terminating with a decorative circular platform with three turned out feet to the base.

The top features beautiful fretwork carvings as a border to the practical space where your favourite jardiniere, potted plant, or flower arrangement can be placed. Diameter of the cut out where a jardiniere or pot sits is 21cm.

Wonderful quality in hard to come by ebony, and in excellent original condition.
