This lovely little Mahogany coal cabinet was used during the 19th century to store coal for the fire. Crafted circa 1890, this pretty piece opens up to reveal a steel lined cupboard. There is also a small drawer above and a top platform.
In the modern day, these cabinets are often used to store magazines and newspapers. It may also serve as a decorative pedestal to display a vase or other decorative piece.
A unique and pretty item for the home!
