19th century green marble pedestal with twisted column c.1860

A beautiful green marble pedestal hailing from France c.1860.

It features a tight twisted column and a heavy base in an octagonal shape. The top is circular with a 30.5cm diameter and the pedestal height is 111cm. It has been stunningly crafted and is of the highest quality.

The top has an unnoticeable chip on the underside of the top platform, and the top platform is slightly scuffed on top but would come up ok with a repolish.

A piece of art in itself, this lovely piece would be a fabulous addition to your home.
