Made during the reign of Napoleon III, this mirror features a lower rectangular mirrored section with original glass. Above it rests an urn decorated with laurel garlands and rosettes signifying abundance, victory, and honour.
The mirror is made from a carved timber construction, and has been finished with a bronzed painted coating which was quite popular in France during this period.
A wonderful quality piece for all lovers of French design.
