19th century burr walnut bookcase secretaire c.1860

Introducing a magnificent burr walnut bookcase secretaire, hailing from England circa 1860.

This wonderful bookcase comes in two sections, the upper section has two original glazed doors that open up to 4 inner shelves for displaying books or other treasured items. The lower section has two cupboards with ample storage space.

The fun bit happens when the cylinder top is rolled back to reveal the fully fitted interior. The secretaire desk pulls out to a great sized writing table which has a wonderful antique green tooled leather top in three panels. The inside has many storage options including small drawers and slots for storing stationery, paperwork, and other important items.
