Introducing this stunning Hepplewhite style fold over card table from the 18th century – a true work of art from an incredible artisan.
This card table has been crafted from stunning plum pudding mahogany circa 1780. It casts an elegant serpentine shape, synonymous with the graceful Neoclassical style of this era. The maker is stamped on the piece: H. Tibbats.
The top of the table has been inlaid with various timbers in a star shape. The table opens up and the back legs slide out to support the table top in its folded out state. The table top is lined with felt, perfect for card games or jigsaw puzzles!
This stunning table is right at home used as a side table in a hallway or living area.
