Near pair 19th century English music cabinets c.1870

This exquisite near pair of music cabinets are a fine example hailing from 19th century England.

Crafted lovingly from sumptuous burr walnut, these cabinets have also been ebonised in sections to show a dramatic contrast in finishes. The cabinets have some slight differences from eachother, but would absolutely pass for a pair.

The backs feature a mirror and an ornately carved topper, with an inlaid shelf flanked by turned supports to the sides. There are string inlays of satinwood which have been purposefully positioned to showcase the contrast in materials.

The glazed doors open by key to reveal three inner shelves which have decorative gilt leather scalloped edging which adds a lovely touch.

Spoil yourself with these immaculate cabinets which could be positioned either side of a fireplace, door, or window for symmetry and prestige.
