$4,950.00
This wonderful long case clock originates from England c.1830.
Crafted from rich mahogany, this clock stands tall at 232cm and features beautiful crossbanding to the cabinetry which displays the high level of craftsmanship. The real standouts of this piece are the hand painted historical and landscape scenes surrounding the dial.
The dial itself is decorated with roman numerals and the clock has an 8 day movement and a lovely chime. The dial is enclosed behind the original glazed door and the piece is topped with turned and carved finials in that wonderful Regency style. Further simple embellishments include turned columns to the sides, and a fan shaped emblem to the centre of the cabinetry.
A wonderful clock, ready to adorn your hallway or living room, and be enjoyed for years to come.
